Transcentral join the UKWA

UKWA Transcentral

We are pleased to announce that Transcentral has joined the United Kingdom Warehousing Association (UKWA).

As Britain’s leading trade organisation for the logistics sector with 800+ members, UKWA provides a voice for the industry.

They help their members operate safely, ethically and profitably, safeguarding industry standards and ensuring their views are represented clearly and effectively to government.

The UKWA also provide professional business advice and strategic business development support to its members, who also benefit from a wide range of specialist services.

The organisation was established in 1944 when representatives from warehousing companies formed a Committee to discuss the storage and distribution of food and materials in wartime Britain. Originally known as the National Association of Inland Warehouse Keepers – its role was to protect and further the interests of public warehouse keepers operating outside the major ports.
